The Habu is awesome. Sigh. . . . I wish I had a shop, nearby, that carried it. It seems so exotic, that I'm not sure what to do with it. That's why I read and enjoy YOUR blog! Hurry, and swatch!
Hey, Stephy--I recently bought the Neptune pattern and wanted to double check something with somebody else knitting it. Roughly how many yards of each fiber did you buy? Using an estimated gauge of a worsted weight and a chest measurement of 44" (the dimensions of the sweater as the pattern is written), I estimate that I should buy roughly 1700 yards of any yarn I buy. I'm planning on going to Stitches to check out Habu's stuff there, so want to go with a sense of how much yarn I should buy (I'm thinking of buying 2-3 or different yarns at a lighter-than-worsted weight, obviously).
Ooooooh!
