Back in February, I finished Jared Flood's Kelpie and discovered that I adore Brooklyn Tweed Loft.
Luurve.
Here's my Kelpie lounging in the snow at Deep Creek Lake in Western Maryland. Hopefully, it was imbued with some magical snow summoning powers (it snows a lot at Deep Creek Lake). It doesn't seem to be working at the moment. Then again, it's too warm to wear it.

After a couple of abandoned projects, which I'm not in the mood to discuss, I started Norby by Gudrun Johnston, another Loft project.
Look! It has tassels! Can you stand it?
I'm soooo looking forward to those tassels.
But I have a bit of a ways to go.
In my flurry of hat knitting a couple of years ago (I think I made nine for myself in about a year), I made very few in neutrals colors. Actually, I only made one. Most of the others were orange. For this one, I'm going with the neutraliest of the neutrals.
If there weren't so much holiday prep going on at home, I would crunch this out over the weekend.
Not that I need a hat with 60+ degree weather. As a winter weather/snow-lover, I'm angry about this. Until it turns cold again, I'll just go to my happy place.
